As a native Albertan, I have lived several places in the province. I have travelled the world and am happy to make my home here in the beautiful town of Okotoks.
I am a mixed-media artist who brings together my passion for fabric and my love of painting. After many years as a textile artist, I now combine fabric, paper and paint to create work rich in texture, colour and movement. My textile work has received both local and international awards.
After leaving a career in the corporate world I embraced painting as a way to bring my creativity and experiences together. I am inspired by the Alberta foothills, prairie structures, fauna and mountains. I hope my paintings capture the rhythm of my subject and invite viewers to pause, look closer and connect with the story being told.
